The Chisinau City Hall announces that on the city’s patron saint’s day, observed on October 14, 2026, public transportation in the city will operate on a special schedule.
Specifically, public transportation will be suspended on Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, on the section between V. Alecsandri Street and Mitropolit G. Bănulescu–Bodoni, from 9:00 p.m. on October 13, 2026, to 5:00 a.m. on October 15, 2025, with traffic being rerouted to adjacent streets. In addition, traffic will be suspended at the intersection of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard and A. Pușkin Street from 5:00 a.m. on October 14, 2026, to 5:00 a.m. on October 15, 2026, with traffic being rerouted to adjacent streets.
Additionally, traffic will be suspended on Maria Cebotari Street, on the section between București Street and 31 August 1989 Street, on October 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
During this time, public transportation passing through the city center will be rerouted to adjacent streets as follows:
Trolleybuses
The routes for lines 1, 5, and 8 will be modified as follows: Outbound – from Constantin Negruzzi Blvd. onto Ciuflea St., Bucharest St., Alexei Șciusev St., Mihai Viteazul St., Columna St., Henri Coandă St., Dimitrie Cantemir Square, and then continuing along the established routes; return trip – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard via Alexei Șciusev Street, București Street, Ciuflea Street, Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard, and then continuing along the established routes;
The route for Route No. 2 is modified as follows: from Gheorghe Asachi Street onto Pan Halippa Street, Ismail Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route;
The route for Route No. 4 is modified as follows: outbound—from Constantin Negruzzi Blvd. onto Ciuflea St., București St., and then continuing along the established route; return trip—from Vasile Lupu Street onto Constantin Stere Street, Alexei Șciusev Street, București Street, Ciuflea Street, Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route;
the routes of lines 7, 12, 16, 25, and 32 are shortened to Columna Street;
The route for Route No. 10 will be modified as follows: Outbound – along the established route; return trip—from Aleksandr Pushkin Street via Bucharest Street, Alexei Shchusev Street, Mihai Viteazul Street, Petricani Street, Orheiului Road, National Revival Boulevard, Bogdan Voievod Street, and Moscow Boulevard;
Trolleybus Route No. 10A is established: “Moscova Blvd. – Columna St.”, with the following route: outbound – Moscova Blvd. Moscova, Kiev Street, Tudor Vladimirescu Street, Renașterii Naționale Boulevard, Grigore Vieru Boulevard, Constantin Tănase Street, Mitropolit G. Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, Columna Street; return – Columna Street, Aleksandr Pushkin Street, Constantin Tănase Street, Grigore Vieru Boulevard, National Revival Boulevard, Tudor Vladimirescu Street, Kiev Street, Moscow Boulevard;
The route of Bus No. 22 is modified as follows: outbound – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard onto Alexei Șciusev Street, București Street, Dacia Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route; return trip – from Dacia Blvd. onto Bucharest St., Alexei Șciusev St., Mihai Viteazul St., Columna St., Henri Coandă St., Dimitrie Cantemir Square, and then continuing along the established route;

The route for Route No. 30 is modified as follows: outbound – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard (intersection with Ismail Street) onto Ciuflea Street and Dacia Boulevard; return leg—from Dacia Blvd. along București St. and Ismail St.;
The route for Route No. 34 is modified as follows: outbound – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd. onto Vasile Alecsandri St., București St., Alexei Șciusev St., Mihai Viteazul St., Columna St., Henri Coandă Street, Dimitrie Cantemir Square, and then continuing along the established route; return trip – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard along Alexei Șciusev Street, București Street, and Ciuflea Street;
