Road traffic will be suspended on Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, between Mitropolit G. Bănulescu–Bodoni Street and A. Pușkin Street, in connection with the “Chișinău 10 km Night Run” sporting event

The Chișinău City Hall announces that road traffic will be suspended from Saturday (June 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.) until Sunday (June 28, 2026, at 2:00 a.m.) on Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, on the section between Mitropolit G. Bănulescu-Bodoni Street and A. Pushkin Street, with traffic being rerouted to adjacent streets, in connection with the “Chișinău 10 km Night Run” sporting event.

Additionally, as part of the same event, on June 27, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:55 p.m., traffic will be suspended on Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, on the section between Toma Ciorbă Street and Ismail Street.

During this time, public transportation routes passing through the city center will be rerouted to adjacent streets as follows:

BUSES

The route of bus line No. 5 will be modified as follows: outbound – along the regular route; return – from Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street via Mihail Kogălniceanu Street, Alexandr Pușkin Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and then continuing along the regular route;

The route of bus No. 9 will be changed as follows: outbound – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard onto Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, Mihail Kogălniceanu Street, Alexandr Pușkin Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route; Return trip – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard onto Alexandr Pușkin Street, Alexandru cel Bun Street, Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route;

The route of bus line No. 11 is modified as follows: from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard onto Alexandr Pușkin Street, Alexandru cel Bun Street, Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route;

The route of bus No. 26 will be changed as follows: outbound – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard onto Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, Mihail Kogălniceanu Street, and Alexandr Pușkin Street; return – along the established route;

The route for bus No. 46 is modified as follows: Outbound – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard via Alexandr Pușkin Street, Alexandru cel Bun Street, Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route; return – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard onto Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, Mihail Kogălniceanu Street, Alexandr Pușkin Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route.

On June 27, 2026, starting at 7:00 p.m., traffic will be suspended on Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, on the section between Toma Ciorbă Street and Ismail Street:

The route for Bus No. 5 will be modified as follows: Outbound – from Ciuflea Street onto Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard, Constantin Negruzzi Square, Dimitrie Cantemir Boulevard, Ismail Street, Alexandru cel Bun Street, Alexandr Pușkin Street, and then continuing along the established route; Return – from Renașterii Naționale, along Albișoara Street, Ismail Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfînt Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route;

the route for Route No. 9 is modified as follows: outbound – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfînt Boulevard via Alexei Șciusev Street, București Street, Tighina Street, and continuing along the established route; return trip – from Ismail Street, along București Street, Alexei Șciusev Street, Mihai Viteazul Street, Columna Street, Henri Coandă Street, and then continuing along the established route;

The route for Route No. 11 is modified as follows: from Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard along Ciuflea Street, Bucharest Street, Alexei Șciusev Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and continuing along the established route;

The route for Route No. 14 is shortened to București Street, as follows: from Alexandr Pușkin Street to București Street, Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, Alexei Mateevici Street, Vasile Alecsandri Street, and then continuing along the established route;

The route for Route No. 24 is modified as follows: outbound—from Tighina Street to Columna Street, Ismail Street, and then continuing along the established route; return trip—the route is shortened to the existing terminus for bus routes No. 31 and No. 38 on Tighina Street, on the section between Alexandru cel Bun Street and Columna Street;

The route for Route No. 26 is modified as follows: Outbound – from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfînt Boulevard via Mihai Viteazul Street, Albișoara Street, Renașterii Naționale Boulevard, and continuing along the established route; Return – from Renașterii Naționale, along Grigore Vieru Boulevard, Ierusalim Street, Petru Rareș Street, Albișoara Street, Mihai Viteazul Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard, and then continuing along the established route;

the route for Route No. 39 is modified as follows: outbound – from Tighina Street via Columna Street, Ismail Street, and continuing along the established route: return – the route is shortened to the existing terminus of bus routes No. 31 and No. 38 on Tighina Street, the section between Alexandru cel Bun Street and Columna Street;

The route for Route No. 46 is modified as follows: outbound – from Ciuflea Street onto Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard, Constantin Negruzzi Square, Constantin Negruzzi Boulevard, Ciuflea Street, Bucharest Street, Alexei Șciusev Street, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfînt Boulevard and then continuing along the established route; return trip—from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfînt Boulevard along Alexei Șciusev Street, București Street, Ciuflea Street, and then continuing along the established route.

Drivers passing through neighborhoods where road closures have been announced are urged to detour around the affected area.
